25500 Sitting room * I went to Calgary for several days of meetings in early June. The sun came up around 4 am and didn’t go down until 10pm, so I had plenty of time before and after meetings to go out and take a few photos. I spent a few hours at the Calgary Zoo and took several walks at a park just five minutes from my hotel. I took a drive on my last day there through some really overcast, rainy, foggy countryside. First I went to the Southwest to Highway 40 to drive through the high pass. Bad plan – the pass was closed for the winter and wouldn’t open until June 15th – a few days later. Then I went back through Calgary and to the Northeast to Drumheller – the Alberta Badlands.- - - - Patti My humble abode - the Downtown Westin. * 800 x 533 * (104KB)
