25208-Intro * My visit to the Oklahoma City Outdoor Symbolic National Memorial was a very sobering experience. This quiet oasis in the middle of a busy city is a place where visitors can spend some quiet time reflecting back on their thoughts during this tragic event in our history. 25191-Reflection pool * The two huge twin gates mark the formal entrance to the Memorial. They frame the exact moment of destruction - 9:02 AM, April 19, 1995. The East Gate represents 9:01, marking the innocence of the city before the attack. The West Gate represents 9:03, the moment we were changed forever. * 400 x 600 * (105KB)
